Words From the President

Dear friends and partners of Vision Citadelle,

It is a great privilege for a person to have the power to influence the lives and future of those around them, especially when this attempt to influence is driven by a commitment to improve the living conditions of humanity and its environment.

Inspired by the spirit of the young Henry Christophe, who broke his chains, liberated his brothers from the yoke of slavery, and left one of the great wonders of history to the world, the Citadel, it is precisely in this perspective that Vision Citadelle has pledged to contribute to a better tomorrow for the Haitian people in particular and the world at large.

Specifically, since its inception, Vision Citadelle has been working tirelessly in the beautiful country of Haiti to contribute to the alleviation of human suffering. Today, we support over a thousand children daily. To achieve this, the organization works on the ground in the areas of education, environment, agriculture, and the provision of clean water. Moreover, founded on Christian values, in addition to all humanitarian work, Vision Citadelle is concerned with the teaching of the gospel so that everyone can have a solid anchor for their life.

By addressing these five areas simultaneously, Vision Citadelle is convinced that Haiti can experience its flourishing, one child at a time. Hence, our slogan: “For the revaluation of being.”

For us, all hopes are allowed even when everything seems impossible. Just like the Citadelle Laferrière, located in Milot, symbolizes the hope and highest aspirations of the Haitian people, Vision Citadelle aims to be a partner in these aspirations. Hence the name Vision Citadelle.

In conclusion, I would like to wish you a pleasant navigation on our site. But above all, I invite you to embark on it and thus become part of the craftsmen of this adventure to improve life and the future. I also hope to count you soon among our partners. For more information, do not hesitate to contact us. You will find our contact details under the ‘Contact Us’ tab.

Best regards,

Joseph Maurice Chavannes, President
